Generally the classes are gentle where people could relax their mind and body and stretch their muscles with ease during or at the end of a busy day. Classes are appropriate for beginners and experienced students. We begin with sitting warm up exercises, continue with standing warm ups and then practice some traditional yoga postures all with instruction. Class ends with a relaxation on the back and is relaxing and rejuvenating.
If you have never tried yoga before, company classes are a great time to try it and experience the benefits for yourself. And if you already do yoga, it is a great way to connect with colleagues in a fun and relaxing environment. Classes are typically Sivananda style based, which is a slower moving form of yoga, with a focus on the breath and relaxation. The goal of the class is to help people feel healthier and happier.
